The Democratic Socialist Paradigm of Kathie Glass

It is no secret that I am a Gandhian in the sense that I worship God as Truth Only, and I have no real problem with collectivism in a stateless environment, as is shown in the libertarian socialism of Gandhiji, my Internet co-hort Noam Chomsky, etc.  I am not a libertarian socialist, which, in my studies, requires a stateless society in order to exist, by the way.  I am a Tolstoyan ("swear not"--give no allegiance to Caesar/ government by oath or affirmation), Gandhian (One who worships God as Truth Only), Rothbardian (Mises.org/ anarco-capitalist, Ron Paul) Libertarian (You do it your way, I'll do it mine).

The demarkation line that concerns me is that any attempt at libertarian socialism within the state conception of life (for a local public school, for example) becomes democratic socialism (Mandela. King), and this represents the violence of the state, if utilized at any level.  There is no ultimate local control under the state conception of life, and I see no evidence of Kathie Glass endorsing a stateless society.

Therefore, I am forced to conclude she is operating under the false hope of developing a libertarian socialist paradigm in her free public school proposal, while in reality endorsing the violence of democratic socialism.  Remember, Marxism is insidious.  If you let it in the door, it will grow until it chokes out everything in the greenhouse.  Government indoctrination day camps for children (10th Plank of "The Communist Manifesto") is not benign.

Libertarian Library Movie Night Update

The new Cesar Chavez movie was a master's course in political non-violent change.  It is the story of the state manipulating laws and opportunity into the hands of the owners/ grape growers and against the farm worker's free market attempts to raise pay for themselves, who simply wanted to collectively bargain for higher wages than $2.00 a day.

President Nixon opened grape markets to Europe and would buy any oversupply for the military to ensure the growers an upper hand with the Chavez group.  Chavez goes to Europe, and the manipulations of the state are overcome.

There is nothing un-libertarian about a group wanting to get together to contract for work with a grower. If five guys want to deal with me to mow my lawn together, it is a fine free market act.  Now, if those five guys get a law passed that I can only do business with their group, then the free market is circumvented.  In every case, the state was a manifestation of a violent manipulation of the market against freedom.

Chomsky's Farm Experiment/ Rockwell's Farm Experiment

Twenty-four miles down I-10 east from downtown El, Paso, Texas, then six miles north on a paved two lane road and another six miles down a dirt road (Sandy Rd.), you will come to a twenty acre parcel of raw desert land, yucca plants and all, at the corner of Sandy Rd. and Mira Grande, another dirt road.  This is property I've owned for over twenty years.

I am interested in a farm experiment that divides this property into two equal areas of ten acres each.  On one side, Chomsky's Farm Experiment, a study in anarco-syndicalism in this raw environment.  On the other side, Rockwell's Farm Experiment, a study of anarco-capitalism. 

I expect the property to hold about ten couples on each side.

Your thoughts and objections on this idea invited.

The Closest I've Ever Been to Liberty

Most of you have never been anywhere near Liberty.  You've been raised to do some duty or task that is placed upon you by the society around you.  You go to school to get a job, to buy a car, to buy a house, to afford a marriage, to afford children, taxes and so on.  It never ends.

I've come close to Liberty once in my life, and it's the most intoxicating thing.  I mean the liberty of the Greek definition:  elutheria -- without liability or obligation.

I was truck driving on I-70 headed West, just a few miles from Vail, Colorado.  I pulled my rig over and stopped at a rest area, where a beautiful brook, full of rounded rocks, was running down the mountain.  As I looked up past the flowers on the side of the hill in front of me, I realized there was no fence.  A sign read something like "wilderness area ahead."  There was a path that disappeared into the forest on up the mountain, and I looked into my map and saw how one could go on to the North Pole, if they wished.

The feeling was a release of tension in my gut, as I considered leaving my wallet in my truck and just walking off.

You need to consider what liberty really is, if you are going to run for office as a Libertarian.  You need to think about every fence you are building.  You need to think about all that you secure today and what it means to that feeling in your grandchild's gut fifty years from now.

I pray I have another moment like that before I die, and I hope you all will experience liberty some day, just once in this life.

Library Update

I have copies of "End The Fed," by Ron Paul and "The Black Book of Communism" in hand.  The former is probably the best argument on paper I've seen for ending the central bank in the U. S., Ron Paul sharing discussions he had with Fed Chairmen through his eleven terms in Congress.  The latter appears to be an 800 page book recording Marxist atrocities and history around the world.

I have one copy of "For A New Liberty:  The Libertarian Manifesto," by Murray N. Rothbard for mailing tomorrow to a young lady who is high up in the Republican Party and requested the book last month.

Don't forget movie night on March 28th at Cinema Latino in Ft. Worth (I-35W between x47 and x46), where we will be learning about Cesar Chavez in the move by his name, "because a libertarian society requires a highly educated population."

I'm Of Two Minds

I traded another email with Dr. Noam Chomsky yesterday, and he is impressed with my research on slavery.  Only his being swamped keeps him from joining me in the research, he tells me.

No "Intellectual of the Age" ever told me such a thing about my work in robotics.

It seems I'm destined to be a sociologist no matter what other path I might choose first.  The Marxist demons robed in flesh we call, "IRS employees," should be met with the intellectual world's best effort, and I am connected within it, for sure.  But how to pay for it and not live under a bridge in the process?

Library Update

We had soft beef tacos and beans and rice at the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Libertarian Book Club meeting tonight.  A margarita did appear, as did cheese cake.

It was more of a book swap than a read tonight.  This might be the best approach for some groups.

We received a $20 donation for books.  Libertarianism is now well on its way to world domination.

We will have a field trip on March 28th to see the new Cesar Chavez movie "because a libertarian society requires a highly educated population."

Nightly Business Report

Dear Nightly Business Report:

I was shocked to hear you give credence to the observation by some group this evening on your program that there are more millionaires in America than ever before.

I would suggest a read of "Money Mischief," by Milton Friedman.  (He was a famous economist, since it appears that yall don't seem to read books.)  Monetary growth/ expansion/ inflation is the primary reason millionaires are being created.  They turned on the printing press (computer pixels) to inflate the money supply out of the 2008 Depression and inflated the stock market.  This created a false impression that people were getting rich.  

In fact, labor wages are stagnate due to the inability of work-a-day folks to adjust their compensation to monetary expansion, without the availability of collective bargaining.  Additionally, according to former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan's book, "The Map and The Territory," indexation of Social Security benefits to price inflation and the creating of Medicare in 1965, along with an expansion of benefits at a 3% compounded rate above that which is sustainable, are the reasons we have not been able to see a wage increase these past couple of decades.  

You're talking to a population of economists here, after all.  Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining.

Question for Gene:

Question:  "Mr. Chapman, what could Kathie Glass do to gain your support?"

Gene's reply:  Well, she would need to publicly apologize to the fine latino citizens of Texas and the World for dehumanizing remarks about them as "ants" in the past.

She would have to repudiate any attempt to secure the borders between Texas and Mexico, as this is an anti-libertarian stance.  Libertarians are open border people at the very least and no border people at their most generous.

She would have to repudiate any e-verify requirements she has endorsed on stopthemagnet.com, for example, as this represents a "numbering of people as cattle" (one of the eight dynamics of enslavement) and is indicative of the Christian 'mark of the beast' concept in Revelation 13:16.

She would need to show knowledge of and opposition to all ten planks of "The Communist Manifesto" and the "Eight Dynamics of Enslavement" from an Austrian School of Economics perspective.

And her husband, Tom Glass, would need to step down from any leadership role in the LP for a year or two to show contrition and apologize privately to the President of the Llano Tea Party for the unprofessional manor in which he distressed her and her assistant this past January.

At that point, I would place Kathie Glass on an equal par with the other candidates.

Kathie Glass Opponents May Desire Police Protection

On the Sunday prior to the Llano Tea Party event this past January, I was purchasing tickets for a guest and myself on the phone from the President of the Llano Tea Party, and she conveyed that she and her assistant in the office at the time were sufficiently concerned about the potential for violence from the phone behavior of Mr. Tom Glass toward me that she informed me that police would be present to address the issue and was no longer taking his calls.  (Police were present at the event, and I'm Gandhian, so violence is not an issue from my end.)

For those of you gubernatorial candidates who will not be just lying down and handing the nomination to Kathie Glass, you may feel the need to have personal security present.  It is a bit intimidating to walk into a situation with such stress hanging over you, I know.

I have pause over attending the LP event over this matter, as I don't have the money for a doctor bill right now, so I know others will be concerned for their situation too.

Where to Invest?

I'm watching these Saturday morning investment shows, and it is funny to watch the move that they have been making in recent years from the three legged stool (Social Security, personal savings and pensions) of investing to a "wobbly" pogo stick of Social Security for retirement income.

The reality is that your retirement in all three areas has been transferred to pay for wars, Obamacare and other government windmill jousting.  According to former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's book, "The Map and The Territory," government expanded Medicare and indexed Social Security to price inflation about 3% faster than was sustainable since 1965 (49 years and counting).

My suggestion to young people is to get as much education as you can in fields you enjoy working in for a very long time (no retirement), and then see if you can leave the Keynesian-Marxist USA.  I'd make a big part of your education Economics and some technical field (i. e. Electronics).  Economics will show you where the dangers are along the road of life, and Electronics will make you employable in all markets.

I'd suggest you read, "The New Buffettology," by Mary Buffett and David Clark and "The Intelligent Investor" and "Security Analysis," both by Benjamin Graham.  I had the privilege of interacting with David Clark for a couple of years on the Internet back in the 1990's, and this kicked opened the doors for me to interact with Warren Buffett on a limited basis over the decades.  Ben Graham was Warren's teacher at Columbia University.

If you plan to stay committed to America, you will be best prepared for the headwinds of Keynesian-Marxism with these books, along with a subscription to the hard copy of "Value Line Investment Survey."

At the end of the day, depend on the skills you can take with you.  Assets are fleeting in a Marxist environment like we have in America.
