Libertarian Library Update

We had our second meeting of the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Libertarian Book Club today at the Starbucks in Euless, Texas (Hwy. 121 and Glade Rd.).  We read passages from "Libertarianism in One Lesson," by David Bergland.  From the book, we discussed how public school education and coercive governments are not libertarian.

We plan to have two people headed to Houston on February 22, 2014 at 6 a. m. from South Ft. Worth for a 2 p. m. arrival at the LP event there to distribute about $200 worth of books of libertarian interest.  We have room for two more travelers, if anyone is interested and should be back to Ft. Worth late that night.

I got a letter from Dr. Billy Graham's office today.  We are thanked for the book I mailed last month, "The Kingdom Of God Is Within You," by Leo Tolstoy (the book behind Gandhi, Mandela and King's move to non-violent social change).  Due to the dementia of Dr. Graham's advanced age, he is not in a position to dialogue once it is read, I'm informed;  however, they send all the good vibes of the Billy Graham Community our direction.
