Dear Pastor Osteen:
Enclosed, you will find a copy of what I think you will agree is the most important work written since the time of Christ, Leo Tolstoy's, "The Kingdom Of God Is Within You." This is the book that transformed the lawyer M. K. Gandhi into the Mahatma (Great Soul) of India and caused him to abandon his temporal law practice in favor of practicing law eternal on the British Empire. These are the ideas that made Mahatma Gandhi the Father of India, Nelson Mandela the Father of South Africa and gave Martin Luther King, Jr. the world's greatest dream, not that I would agree with any of these three men in total.
As a Texas gubernatorial candidate, I am seeking to transform Texas from a state-centric society into a Kingdom-centric society. As you are a fan of the Kingdom, I understand, I hope we can discuss the implications of a full implementation of Christ's Kingdom conception of life in Texas and around the world, both in your office and on the Internet, as you have time and inclination.
