Chapman/ Chomsky exchange on libertarianism #3

I'm sure that dynamic is present and maybe prevalent;  however, I think your version could be taught with lots of open minds within the Libertarian Party.  A man doesn't know what he doesn't know.

Traditional libertarianism is fundamentally opposed to domination and authority, and believes that people should be free.  American “libertarianism” differs radically.  It favors domination and authority by unaccountable private concentrations of private power, and opposes only the state authority that might restrict these forms of illegitimate oppression.  And the policies of American “libertarians” are shaped to contribute to these ends.

This is all quite independent from what particular individuals might believe that they are doing.
